| I have always loved to bake and I have always loved to eat cake since I was a little girl. In 2005 I decided to start formal training and took my first course. It changed my life - learning from expert specialty bakers helped me know that this is what I wanted to do. Since attending my first course, I've earned advanced baking certificates and baked many cakes. I started the business by baking cakes for friends and family. Cakes for birthdays, graduations, retirements and then weddings! I baked and created my first Gingerbread House in 2007 and entered a contest for charity. It placed Second in 2007 and entered the contest again in 2008. It won First place in 2008! This year, in 2009, I entered the 1st Annual Mt. Mushroom Festival in Irvine, Kentucky and won First Place in the professional division |
